Amino Trimethylene Phosphonic Acid (ATMP) is a high-performance, water-soluble organic phosphonate primarily used as a cost-effective scale inhibitor and corrosion inhibitor in industrial water treatment. It works by chelating metal ions like calcium, magnesium and iron to prevent scale, and forms a protective film on metal surfaces.Key Aspects of ATMP Phosphonate:
  • Applications: Commonly used in circulating cooling water systems, oilfield reinjection water, power plants, refineries, textile dyeing, and RO membranes.
  • Performance: Offers high solubility, excellent thermal stability, and good corrosion mitigation at higher concentrations.
